We enjoyed every moment we spent at your
home—especially the incredible sunsets night
after night. Costa Rica is a beautiful country
indeed, and we hope to return someday soon. We
just wanted to have a chance to say thank you
for a fabulous week in what might truly be one
of the most delightful places on earth. You
better believe I’ll have good things to say
about your place to anyone I know who wants a

Villa Manana was the perfect
place for my family's Costa Rica vacation. The
view and the villa itself were beautiful. My
family really appreciated the 4bedrooms and 4
bathrooms. The villa was well equipped and
conveniently located. Also, it was wonderful
to be able to take advantage of local
knowledge through David, the concierge.
Thank you for the use of
Villa Manana. My only complaint was not having
enough time. The Villa was fantastic and the
view alone was worth the trip. As they say,
the sunsets are to die for. The
"things to do" portfolio David put
together was most helpful and I would
encourage anyone planning on a visit to the
villa to make use of David's expertise as a
guide to the area. I would strongly recommend
Villa Manana to anyone planning a visit to
Costa Rica or as my new hat says "Costa
Rica Pura Vida". On a personal note we
loved the fresh bread baked daily at the
grocery store in Playas del Coco. |
Our week at your villa was nothing short
of spectacular. The pictures on your website are beautiful but the "real
stuff" is far better. We've done several spring break vacations over
the past five years (a couple of cruises, Europe,
Caribbean,
Florida) and the four of us have unanimously voted your villa in Costa
Rica as #1! What did we like best?: * The Villa/View itself -- We simply loved the villa (your pool probably got more mileage last week than it's seen in a long time). Have never seen sunsets, morning/afternoon views like that before and don't expect we ever will. Everything was immaculate and comfortable. We didn't even realize that two days of housekeeping was included in the package. That was a great surprise. * Location at Giardini -- The combination of a private villa & pool situated with that type of view, but also situated on a terrific little resort with an incredibly clean and beautiful beach is unbeatable. It was good to walk down the hill and hang out at the resort in the evenings - the staff (Melvin the bartender and Gretel the housekeeper in particular) were some of the warmest and welcoming people we've met in our travels. The snorkeling at the beach at high tide was better than when we went on the sailing / snorkeling excursion. Plus we never had a problem getting on the internet to touch base with family back home. The CAT tour group on site was great and we did some great tours - including the Bagaces waterfall which was our favorite. * Wildlife on Site - the birds that hang out at your pool and howler monkeys at the resort at night were just amazing. The night we had dinner at the resort, there were howlers in the trees in the parking lot, providing us with a tropical ambience - WOW! Don't think there is any question about whether or not you'll be hearing from us again to book our next trip. Please feel free to use as a reference for other prospective guests as I know that people have concerns about booking on VRBO without knowing the owner. Obviously, it worked out great for us.
